James Sutter and the Sutters’ shop are equipped to use almost every technique and material to take designs from the drawing board to the customer.  Techniques that bridge the past two millennia work together seamlessly.  These tools range from the most simple hammers and anvils to state of the art technology. 

The state of the art technology includes Laser welding with a top of the line German b&d laser welder, designing with the most advanced jewelry design software, and using the brand new REVO 540C multi axis cnc mill.  Matrix software lets James design with the customer, and render beautiful images allowing the customer to see just what their design will look like when finished.  This design can then be either hand carved by James or mechanically carved by the REVO mill.  This technology allows James to design and construct pieces that would have been difficult and sometimes impossible to create.
